Creating the new, and managing the existing

New and upgraded transport infrastructure is a vital link between developments. The high cost of new infrastructure means it is also crucial to manage, maintain and rehabilitate existing infrastructure. Innovative private-public partnerships (PPPs) are increasingly being investigated to meet infrastructure needs.

KV3 carries out the planning, design and construction supervision of all road types, from national routes and main roads, to urban streets and low-volume gravel roads. We evaluate and design rail corridors, and investigate the maintenance and upgrading of heavy-load rail transport systems.

Specialist technologies

KV3 also utilises the latest available technology and techniques to provide a complete site investigation and geo-technical testing service. Material surveys and laboratory analysis are carried out by accredited laboratories. Pavement management systems are developed to determine when and how roads need to be maintained.
